One of the oldest sweetmeat shops in Kolkata carrying history of two centuries... Set up in 1824, its quality and taste even now remains premier... This family run shop has been passed down through six generations...We kind of tried almost everything that looked good... Which was most of it... They even tell you which sweets are grainy and which ones are more homogeneous in texture... Texture, sweetness, and taste, everything is worth visiting for... The people selling the sweets are just as sweet... The only thing holding this place back is the messy market it's in.
